Tucked away in the pristine Dolphin Coast near Ballito lies a 23‑hectare primate sanctuary like no other. Since opening in April 2019 as part of the South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA), the Hidden Forest has offered rescued lemurs, gibbons, capuchins, howlers and more the freedom to roam cage‑free among indigenous forest.

A Walk on the Wild Side
Your journey starts with a safari‑vehicle ride into the forest, followed by an immersive guided walk where knowledgeable guides, fluent in English and isiZulu, introduce you to free‑roaming primates and other wildlife such as duiker, bushbuck and bush babies.
